Ann Lamont

Managing Partner, Oak Investment Partners

Ann Huntress Lamont, Managing Partner, joined Oak Investment Partners in 1982 and served as General Partner from 1986 to 2006. Annie leads the healthcare and financial services information technology teams at Oak.

Annie's recent investments include Acculynk, Argus Information & Advisory Services, athenahealth, CareMedic, CLARiENT, Franklin & Seidelmann Subspecialty Radiology, iHealth Technologies, NetSpend, PayFlex, PharMEDium Healthcare, United BioSource, and Castlight. Prior investments include American Esoterics, Harbor Payments, Health Dialog, Odyssey Healthcare, Oak Tree/Oxford, and Psychiatric Solutions.

Earlier in Annie's venture career, she developed a number of successful biopharmaceutical investments (Cephalon, ViroPharma, Esperion).

Prior to joining Oak, Annie was a research associate with Hambrecht & Quist, and received her BA in Political Science from Stanford University. Annie currently serves on the Stanford University Board of Trustees. She has been ranked among the top 25 in Forbes Midas List of all venture investors. Annie has also served on the Executive Board of the National Venture Capital Association.
