We are more than proud of our customers. Why? They really get it. They’re innovative and relentless when it comes to working to improve the total health and wellness of their employees.
That’s why we were so pleased to learn that Marty Webb, AT&T’s VP of Benefits, recently received EBN’s 2015 Benefits Professional of the Year award.
Marty and his team are busy folks. They’ve created new health and wellness programs, boosted participation in the company’s 401(k) plan, implemented a financial wellness program, launched a health care transparency initiative, and overseen the largest Medicare private exchange transition in the country.
Marty really takes pride in this team. As he recently told EBN, “They’re a great group of people. The best staff in the U.S., in my opinion, and that helped me be effective in the benefits space.”
A big proponent of healthcare consumerism and transparency, Marty knows that these issues go beyond any one company. When interviewed by EBN, he noted, “Health care transparency is important for AT&T and our employees, but it’s our belief it’s also important for the health care industry across the country.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Congratulations to Marty and the entire team at AT&T!
