About the Role:

  • Partner with our operational teams to ensure they have the right technologies for the task and that those technologies are meeting the challenge
  • Own planning and roadmaps for core systems used for authentication, collaboration, productivity, communications, and integrations
  • Responsible for defining the company’s IT architecture and strategy working with other senior leaders to ensure business alignment
  • Managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including collaboration tools, telecommunications, servers, PCs, software, peripherals, and office technologies
  • Managing financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting and contract review and negotiation
  • Developing and implementing all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provisioning
  • Managing IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions
  • Developing and implementing methods to standardize, simplify, automate, and continuously improve IT processes, tools, and systems, to optimize service levels and control costs
  • Evaluates key metrics, KPI’s and SLA’s, performs analysis and provides reporting to leadership to drive consistency and repeatability of best practices
  • Ensures a high-quality, consistent user and customer experience with the business’ technology platforms
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze performance metrics and service level agreements for IT operations to ensure business needs are being properly met 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred
  • Computer science or related field preferred

Desired Experience:

  • Effective technical skills to manage operations in cloud-based environments.
  • Effective at engaging with teams in various functions and across different levels
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills with an emphasis on communicating complex issues across a wide audience
  • Experience operating in environments based on standards such as the NIST Privacy Framework, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2
  • 5+ years experience managing Service Desk / Support Desk, and other IT Service roles 
  • 5+ years experience managing ITIL processes including but not limited to Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
  • 5+ years experience with Google Workspace, Active Directory, Group Policies, O365 Admin Center, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10, and MacOS, 
  • 5+ years of ITSM tools such as Jira or other issues tracking systems.
  • Technical knowledge in IT endpoint management (laptops / desktops, software, VoIP desk phones, cellular phones, etc.)
