Associate Corporate IT Support Specialist

Castlight is looking for an Associate Corporate IT Support Specialist to support our Sandy, UT office location. As our company grows, we need an individual who is interested in working in a team environment to maintain the growth of our Corporate IT infrastructure and laptop environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills within Help Desk Operations and show some technical depth with Corporate IT environment. This individual needs to be highly motivated and enjoy interacting with users.


Help Desk Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer support to our end users
  • Effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals and conduct work within a professional setting.
  • Develop and promote self-service to guide end users on how to resolve any issue without direct involvement with IT.
  • Provide end user instruction and training to reduce help desk tickets
  • Able to handle incoming support requests through various mediums, such as phone, instant message, email, and ticket queue.  As well as triage and escalate issues to other Corporate IT Specialists.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for afterhours support and be the first point of contact for all after hour escalations.
  • Responsible for maintaining Corporate IT environment, which includes laptop/desktop, conference room equipment, server and/or cloud-based application services.
  • Testing, evaluating, and implementing new technology
  • Enforce and escalate security issues according to company policy
  • Ability to document processes on IT related subjects


  • 1-2 years of experience providing IT operations support
  • Knowledge of the following operating systems and hardware:
    • MacOS  (10.14+)
    • Windows OS (10)
    • Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
  • Some experience in the following areas:
    • Domain services (AD, DNS, DHCP)
    • VPN and MFA
    • Jira (Task management)
    • Confluence (Knowledgebase)
    • Call center environment
  • Some experience with the following technologies:
    • Supporting SaaS Applications (Office 365 & Google Apps)
    • Understanding cloud based SSO Management (Okta)
    • Supported large-scale deployment of new hardware and software to end-users
    • Support for corporate telecommunications systems
    • Endpoint management solutions (JAMF/Desktop Central)
    • Backup solutions (Druva)
    • Video Conferencing Solution (Zoom/Teams)
    • Messaging application support (Slack)
    • Asset management
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple daily tasks
  • Able to communicate and work cross functionally
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Able to follow verbal and documented procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work after normal business hours
  • Must be able to lift and deploy computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
