Giovanni Colella, MD

CEO and Co-Founder

Giovanni Colella co-founded Castlight Health in 2008, along with Todd Park (currently U.S. chief technology officer and formerly the CTO of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) and Bryan Roberts of Venrock.

Prior to co-founding Castlight, Giovanni was Founder, President and CEO of RelayHealth, which was acquired by McKesson. Giovanni graduated with an M.D. from the Universita Degli Studi di Milano in Italy and earned his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Naomi Allen

Vice President, Product

Naomi leads the product strategy, prioritization and product management efforts at Castlight.

Naomi joined Castlight from McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader in the health care and business technology practices and focused on serving payers, providers, and technology companies on health care and strategy issues. Prior to McKinsey, Naomi worked in product planning at Microsoft. She also worked for several years in Deloitte Consulting’s health care and technology practices. Naomi has an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dena Bravata, MD, MS

Chief Medical Officer

Dena leads the product, clinical, and analytics teams at Castlight. Dena brings a unique combination of clinical and analytic expertise to her role at Castlight.

Prior to joining Castlight, Dena was a practicing internist—for nearly a decade in her own private practice in San Francisco and prior to that as an attending physician at Stanford University and the Palo Alto VA. Dena has published widely on health care quality, clinical effectiveness, and public health. Dena has an undergraduate degree from Yale University, an M.D. degree from Columbia University, and an M.S. in Health Policy from Stanford University.

John Doyle

Chief Financial Officer

John leads the finance, human resources, legal, facilities, and customer accounts teams. John joined Castlight after serving as chief operating officer at Achaogen, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of multi-drug resistant infections. In that role, John managed business development, corporate finance, information technology, and business strategy. Previously, John was Vice President of Finance and Corporate Planning at Genentech, Inc.

John received an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is a member of the 2012 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute and serves on the Achoagen board of directors.

John Driscoll

President

John Driscoll brings more than 25 years of health care experience to Castlight Health. Prior to Castlight, John served as Group President for New Markets at Medco and led product development for Medco’s employer and health plan clients. John was responsible for acquisitions and investments and led the company’s entry into Medicare, international markets and pharma services. John founded and chaired the Surescripts ePrescribing Network. John also served as an advisor to Oak Investment Partners, and held a number of senior operating positions at Oxford Health Plans.

John has a B.A. and M.B.A. from Harvard University as well as an M.Phil from Cambridge University in England.

Peter Isaacson

Chief Marketing Officer

Peter is Castlight Health’s Chief Marketing Officer and oversees overall marketing strategy and execution for the company.

He has over 25 years of experience in both enterprise and direct-to-consumer marketing, spanning packaged goods to technology industries. Most recently, Peter served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at MicroStrategy, where he drove marketing strategy across big data, mobile, cloud, and social business initiatives. Peter has also held senior marketing positions at Adobe Systems, including corporate marketing, field marketing, and managing the WW education business. Peter got his start in advertising, working at Saatchi and Saatchi, as well as Ammirati Puris Lintas. Peter holds a B.S. Degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Greg Nash

Vice President, Enterprise Sales

Greg is responsible for leading Castlight Health’s Enterprise Sales team.

Prior to joining Castlight, Greg was the first sales executive at SuccessFactors. During his tenure there, he held several managerial roles, culminating in this roles as National VP of Sales for Healthcare and National VP of Sales for Midmarket, where he managed cross-functional teams supporting six regions.

Greg has also been a member of five founding teams, all of which had highly successful outcomes. Greg holds a business degree from Bryant University

Nita Sommers

Vice President, Corporate & Business Development

Nita leads corporate planning, business development, investor relations, strategic alliances and M&A.

Nita joined Castlight from McKinsey & Company’s health care practice, where she focused on serving providers and health systems. Prior to McKinsey, she worked for several years in the health IT and services sector at Athenahealth and later at McKesson. Her functional background includes corporate strategy, M&A, new business development, product management, and product engineering. Nita has an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Harvard University.

Randy Womack

Chief Operating Officer

Randy has a strong track record in managing Internet and software companies. Most recently, he was CIO and VP of Operations for SuccessFactors, a customer-focused business execution software company with more than eight million users and 3,000 customers across 168 countries. He first began working with SuccessFactors as an early stage startup while a partner in the Fast Forward Group at Greylock Partners. Prior to Greylock, he served as CIO at Digital River, an e-commerce ASP with more than 6,000 online stores, where he helped lead the company to a successful IPO. Randy’s previous experience includes Xerox, Oracle, Artificial Linguistics and Dell Computer.
